Maximum Geek Vol. 2 Ep. 13
This week Jeff manages to keep us off topic for almost the entire show. Also, I didn’t have my usual headset at home and the reserve headset doesn’t sound as good. Anyway here’s what we manage to cover.
- Joost rules
- Farscape is back on Scifi.com Link

- Torque Engine for Wii
- Wii Fit and the future of the RPG?
- The Sony switch? Maybe.
- Mobile Minute
Next week we’re not really sure when we’ll record cause Jeff has a job and stuff. Also I has a bucket.

Maximum Geek Vol. 2 Ep. 11
Boy, it seem like we just did one of these a couple of days ago, oh wait, we did. Well we’re back on our Tuesday schedule with this special Transformers centric episode. Here’s what we cover.
- Bill Gates ain’t the richest
- MS Apologizes for slow Ultimate content
- 18 mile BT range
- 2K Games has an answer for Madden
- Transformers Review
Doesn’t seem like a lot but looks can be deceiving and as usual Jeff and I manage to turn it into almost an hour long podcast. Lots of geeking out going on here despite the lack of tech news out there.
Maximum Geek Vol. 2 Ep. 10
Maximum Geek 10 is up and running. Last weeks pathetic little episode has been canned completely. This week Jeff and I cover a lot. We talk about where we stand on the iPhone (I think it’s lacking and there are some unforgiveable f-ups, but there will certainly be a market and a next-gen iPhone, Jeff on the other hand calls it the Apple Edsel). We break down the biggest problems with the iPhone in the second half of the show, so if you’re sick of hearing Jeff and I talk about the iPhone, the first half is iPhone free.
- Live Free or Die Hard mini review
- Next Bond Film gets a director – Marc Foster of Stranger Than Fiction and Finding Neverland
- R2D2 Projector Link
- WiiWare
- MizPee Link
- Dell’s new Laptops
- DX10 Video Hits laptops – Alienware opts out.
- Shadowrun on XP
- Vista Start Menu in XP Link
- Next Gen Zune going into production at the end of July? 80 Gig and that’s about all we know.
- iPhone
- -No voice Dialing
- -No 64 Bit Windows
- -Interface Issues
- -Very little BT support
- -Headphone Jack – $10 adapter available
- -Activation Problems
- Funny shiznit Link
As always we want to know what you think so drop us a line in the comments section and tune in next week for more geeky goodness.

- No takers on the M11X? I'd donate my MSI Wind, upgardes included... Yeah, it's a fantasy world I live in.
- If that's not enough maybe even a whole year. On time.
- Someone buy me an Alienware M11X so we can review it for MaxGeek. We promise if we get one we'll do a whole months worth of eps.
