Writerly Cast Ep. 2
No reviews this week. We decided that the last cast was a bit over laden with that kind of stuff. We have a couple interesting discussions in this one on storytelling. We discuss long form story telling (think serials, television and comics). We discuss what works and what doesn’t and a bit of why. Then we go on to discuss the Dark Knight. I did love the movie, but I had some serious problems with the storytelling (Jeff didn’t) the discussion is interesting but not too heated. Then we finish up with talking about what being a paid writer really means (hint, not much).

Maximum Geek Vol. 2 Ep. 21
We\’re on a real roll here. It’s another episode of Max Geek and Jeff and I are a bit scattered, which is really nothing new. Someone should really be in charge of show notes and keeping on topic or something. Crap that’s supposed to be me. Next weeks Writerly cast will be a bit late since I’ll be in Colorado seeing The Police live. Should be awesometastic. Here’s what we cover.
- Charlie the Unicorn 2 Link
- Dr. Horrible Link
- Live Mesh
- Splashtop on the Envy 133. Someone buy me this laptop, because two laptops just isn’t enough. link
- Mobile Me and iPhone launch issues
- Treo 800w hotness
- E3 Topics
Tune in next week for more hilarity.

Maximum Geek vol. 2 Ep. 20
Alright, I took a little while to post this one mostly because I was busy Thursday and Friday and my birthday was yesterday so I took the weekend for myself (well mostly). I was hardly at my computer, man was that weird. I had a pirate themed birthday, because what else is a 32 year old going to do right? The girls loved it. Anyway, onto the cast, where again mobile tech dominated the show. I lost my detailed notes in the process of putting Vista back on my mini-note. Turns out the video driver is not so much stable in XP. Whereas I never get crashes under Vista. Vista FTW. So it\’s mostly mobile tech talk, can you dig it?
